As the Hurricane Idalia storm water rises and we wait to see the toll that yet another natural disaster is taking on hearts and homes, we are prepping to welcome 80+ homeless pets from shelters in the Tampa, Florida, region. Because you helped us clear the shelters just last weekend, we are able to open our doors to pets in need who were already homeless, allowing our hardworking animal welfare friends in Florida to make critical kennel space for pets displaced from the storm, creating an opportunity to reunite lost companions.
The emergency Wings of Rescue flight powered by Petco Love & BOBS from Skechers™ will arrive this afternoon, and team BVSPCA will mobilize to meet these companions seeking safety.
Emergency transports like this one are only possible because you believe in what we do. Will you help us welcome these displaced orphans? Can you lend a hand as we help these needy paws, providing them with whatever they may need until we find them their forever homes? Can we count on you, so they can count on us?
Make a donation, to support this disaster relief work, and consider welcoming one of these rescues into your home if you’ve been thinking about adopting.
