Cardi is currently enjoying a stay in a foster home. Here are some things the foster has to say about Cardi. Cardi is absolutely perfect! She couldn't be a more well-behaved dog in the house. Totally house trained and she's crate trained, but doesn't need to be crated, she's happy on her dog bed, but especially the sofa! She's quiet all night, and would love to sleep on the bed with you if allowed, but otherwise will sleep on the floor by the nightstand or the sofa. I left her loose in the house while I was at work & checked in on her from the Blink camera, and she was a perfect angel. She only chews on her toys and loves Benebones, so your shoes will be safe!
She loves laying in the sun in the backyard and sometimes gets the zoomies. She's great about doing her business fairly quickly when we go outside. She walks great on a leash and she meets the neighbors dogs through the fence with tail wags. She'd do best with other chill dogs that match her energy, because she seems to be a sensitive girl. She'd be perfectly happy as an only dog though, she entertains herself or just naps (with the cutest snore)!
Cardi also did great with my neighbor's 7 yr old son, taking treats gently over the fence. Cardi is also very cat tolerant!
I think she would also be a great as an emotional support dog. I was sad one night and sitting on the kitchen floor and she came over and sat real close to me. She's such a great dog!! I would keep her if I had a suitable life situation, but I know she'd be the perfect dog for just about anyone or any family.

Cardi had a great afternoon out of the shelter during Skip the Shelter Day. She enjoyed hanging out at the Autumn Arch brewery where she received a lot of attention.
Cardi is the sweetest pibble girl. She loves being close to her person and walks great on a leash! She is happiest just chillin with you though. Hurry over and meet this lovely girl.
