Captain Brown is one of more than 70 dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens who were available in local shelters before Hurricane Idalia. We've welcomed the hurricane rescues to assist that shelter recover and so dogs and cats that were already up for adoption prior to the storm can come north to make room for displaced family pets to stay in local shelters. If you would like to meet one of these dogs, please bring your family and any other dogs in the home prior to adoption.
