We're excited to have an upgraded role in the 2026 Stanley Pup!
The National Hockey League’s (NHL) Stanley Pup, a friendly competition featuring our own adoptable shelter puppies, will air in the U.S. and Canada, starting today, June 8 to celebrate the 2026 Stanley Cup® Final. Through our expanded role as the nonprofit, adoption partner for this year’s Stanley Pup, all 32 of the NHL teams will be represented by our adoptable or alumni pups from our campuses. Dog “players” Jack & Quinn Chews, Matthew Schaefurry, Macklin Celewienie, Jack Eichowl, Seth Arfis and more will showcase their adorable canine skills on the “ice.”
Enjoy special appearances by celebrity dog lovers, including Kenan Thompson, Flavor Flav, Anthony Anderson, Jean Smart, Brooke Shields, Kelli Giddish, Michael Strahan, Joel McHale, singer-songwriter Bryan Adams, Kendall Vertes, Emma Kenney, broadcasting legend Doc Emrick, Anson Carter, Paul Bissonnette, Liam McHugh and Chris Chelios, and Dan Powers and Chris Powers.
Join us for a special Yappy Hour, Dine & Donate, and Stanley Pup watch party this Wednesday to celebrate our puppy players and raise funds to support our work. Event starts at 4pm with the watch party at 8pm.
