Adopting a pet can bring special joy and companionship to their people.  The Brandywine Valley SPCA (BVSPCA) is proud to partner with PetSmart Charities® to bring adoptable pets to PetSmart stores across our footprint in support of National Adoption Week, taking place October 21-26, 2025.  

The Brandywine Valley SPCA needs your help. We have taken in nearly 100 animals at once from a small home in New Castle County and are looking for emergency fosters, adopters and donations to support this large intake of animals.

Fall is in the air, and that means our Bark on the Boards is right around the corner. Be sure to find peace of mind by doing Yoga with Puppies, don’t miss out on ordering your 2026 calendar, and be sure to join us for adoption events this October.

It’s Back to School season, and that means our Pet Photo Contest is in full swing, adopt your new best friend with waived fees next weekend, and don’t miss out on our Forget-Me-Not Gala.
