What a pawfectly beautiful weekend at the boardwalk! Thanks to all who came out to the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand to enjoy and support our annual Bark on the Boards Block Party this past weekend.
With the help of our sponsors, including our presenting sponsor Browseabout Books, plus our event sponsors, vendors, registrants, yogis, DockDogs, adopters, and attendees, we were able to raise $185,000. Special thanks to our emcee Madeleine Overturf from Coast TV News, and our phenomenal young performers from Clear Space Theatre Company, the Bachelor Boys Band, and queens Aura Iris and Kadet Kelly for bringing the party atmosphere to the bandstand!
Thanks to all the volunteers and staff who worked hard to make the event such a success. Funds raised at events like these help us care for the nearly 25,000 animals who will rely on us this year as the region’s largest animal welfare organization, and only to serve Delaware’s lost, stray, neglected animals, and survivors of animal cruelty. Your support makes all the difference.
