Your kindness and generosity mean that homeless and neglected animals in our community can receive the lifesaving care and time they need to heal and start new lives. A longtime donor has offered to match — DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR — every gift the Brandywine Valley SPCA receives before June 15... up to $20,000!
The timing couldn’t be better. With more animals needing assistance and the cost of care so high, this wonderful opportunity allows you to provide twice the veterinary care, safe shelter, and new homes for even more of the area’s most vulnerable animals like Memphis Minnie, who has spent more than a year in our care hoping to match with her new family.
Staff and volunteers recently celebrated Minnie’s anniversary with a party, and we know that Minnie's wish is to find her forever family. She is a smart girl who loves to run and knows some basic commands like “sit.” Minnie is dog-friendly and enjoys her time in playgroup at our New Castle Campus.
We hope you’ll take advantage of this opportunity to double your impact today. The more you give, the more animals in need like Memphis Minnie will benefit. Thank you for helping us make the most of this generous offer to see your donation matched dollar for dollar through June 15.
Limited time offer, FREE spay/neuter, rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, and a painless ear tip clip for community cats! NEW SPOTS have been added to help cut down on the number of unplanned litters in our community, and to help keep community cats healthy.
Reserve your appointment with a $10 reservation donation per cat. Surgery will be performed at one of our Animal Health Centers. Registrants will be sent a confirmation email with drop-off times and instructions. Please check your other and junk folders to be sure you receive the confirmation email and instructions.

Spring cleaning is a great time to take stock of your personal documents and legacy plans. One important aspect to consider is your bequest information. Taking time during spring cleaning to review your bequest information can give you peace of mind and help ensure that your legacy is handled according to your wishes.
Our partner, FreeWill, can help you write or update your will in as little as 20 minutes at no cost. Give a shelter dog a day out! Through our popular program, members of the public can take an adoptable dog on a fun outing such as a walk, ride, hike, coffee date, or meal at a pet-friendly location. Field trips can last from an hour to all day. Whatever works for you, works for us!
Stop by the campus nearest you to choose a dog to sign out and get all the information about places to visit, and how to document your day. Shelter Skip Days are fun for people, the dogs, and give them a chance to meet potential adopters who may not see them in the shelter.
