Every year, you make miracles happen for thousands of pets in need that look to us for help - just like Felix.
Felix was found alone, his frame barely weighing 20 pounds, less than half the weight he should have been. His hips and legs were covered with wounds. Survival for Felix wasn’t guaranteed. Hope, however, was. And so we fought with him. Our shelter vet, Dr. Moon cleaned and closed his wounds and put together a feeding plan. Today, Felix is home after he was adopted at our Mega Adoption® Event! He weighs over 40 pounds. His wounds have healed. His spirit has returned. And according to Dr. Moon, his survival is the direct result of a small army of staff and volunteers who poured hours of love, medical care, and patience into a dog who deserved every bit of it. Now this sweet boy Felix is living his best life in a furever home of his very own!
