Thank you for a Bark on the Boards Success!

What an amazing and beautiful weekend at the boardwalk! Thanks to all who came out to the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand to enjoy and support our annual Bark on the Boards Block Party this past weekend.

With the help of our sponsors, including our presenting sponsor Browseabout Books, vendors, registrants, and attendees, we were able to raise $175,000. Special thanks to our emcee Madeleine Overturf from Coast TV News, performers including Magnolia Applebottom, the Bachelor Boys Band, young performers from Clear Space Theater Company, and Aunt Mary Pat for bringing the energy!

Thanks to all the volunteers and staff who worked hard to make the event successful. Funds raised at events like these help us care for the thousands of animals who rely on us each year as the region’s largest animal welfare organization, and only to serve Delaware’s lost, stray, neglected animals, and survivors of animal cruelty.

Special thanks to The Pines Rehoboth Beach for hosting our very special Bark After Dark evening comedy show featuring Aunt Mary Pat. The Pines opened their venue for the evening fundraising event to keep the fun going when the sun went down after Bark on the Boards. Aunt Mary Pat brought the laughs, and we are so grateful to all of the attendees who embraced this new event to spend the evening with us to support animals in need across the tri-state area.
