It's been almost two weeks since nearly 50 tiny dogs were rescued from heartbreaking conditions — frightened, neglected, and in desperate need of care. Thanks to our incredible staff, volunteers, veterinary team, supporters, and partners at PetSmart & PetSmart Charities, who provided free bathing and grooming services, many of these resilient survivors found their forever families! Now, these resilient pups are starting their next chapter in forever homes where they’ll be safe, loved, and cherished the way they always deserved. There are still other dogs rescued from this home looking for loving families, and others who will need more time in our care until they are ready for adoption. Please consider supporting these survivors or stopping by to adopt one who is ready to go home.

We had a wonderful weekend at Pennhurst Asylum’s Paracon and Oddities Expo! Hundreds of visitors stopped by our area to snuggle adoptable animals, purchase merch, learn about our work, check out our adoption mobile and support our lifesaving efforts! Some of our furry friends even met some of the event’s very special guests. 38 dogs, puppies and kittens found homes thanks to the event, and we raised more than $17,000 supporting our work. Wow! We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the invitation to participate in this event and to all of the attendees and participants who welcomed us. Thank you!
