Adopt Then Shop During PetSmart Charities National Adoption Week

Pets are family, and can bring hope, companionship and unconditional love to their people. Adopting a pet in need of a home can bring joy to people and also impact communities, alleviating strain on overcrowded shelters. Thats why Brandywine Valley SPCA will bring adoptable pets to adoption events in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Washington, DC, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, March 29 and 30 for PetSmart Charities National Adoption Week. Brandywine Valley SPCA aims to find homes for dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens during the event. Adoption fees for all adult dogs will be pick your price at all events in Pennsylvania and Delaware. Adoption fees for all adult animals will be waived for all events in Washington, DC and Virginia.

PetSmart Charities connects adoption partners such as Brandywine Valley SPCA with local PetSmart stores to bring adoptable pets into in-store Adoption Centers and events. These include pets of all ages, breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. Staff and volunteers are available to help make matches for people looking to adopt.

Adoption events in the community are a vital tool in helping homeless animals find loving homes, said Adam Lamb, Brandywine Valley SPCA CEO. Thanks to the support of PetSmart Charities, we are able to participate in eight adoption events at PetSmart stores across three states and Washington, DC.
