We’re honored to have animal advocates Krystal Klei and Tim Furlong from NBC10 emceeing this year’s gala!
Krystal Klei is a meteorologist for NBC10’s First Alert Weather team. You can watch Krystal’s live forecasts during the weekend morning newscasts and across the region during big weather events, plus she works behind-the-scenes to keep the team’s weather technology running at its best. Krystal loves being involved with local STEM education efforts and animal rescue initiatives. While at working in Texas , Krystal was a humane society telethon anchor and adopted her dog, Freckles, live on-air to explain the process.
Tim Furlong is the Delaware Bureau Reporter for NBC10. A native of the Greater Philadelphia area, Tim loves reporting the news to the people of his hometown. “I love covering our area because I was born and raised here,” said Tim.
“I am raising my kids here. I know and love the people and the attitude. I bleed Eagles green along with them, and I too will forever have trouble spelling the word ‘Schuylkill.’” Tim adopted his rescue beagle named Maggie from the BVSPCA.
