Fortunately, that is achievable. When you neuter or spay a pet, you increase its life expectancy. Research shows you can add about one to three years of life to your pet by neutering it. That’s one of the reasons you might want to adopt one that’s neutered already. Spaying your pet lowers the risk for mammary tumors and other conditions. It has also been shown to lower the risk of testicular cancer and prostate disease in male pets.
