After a near deadly encounter with a car “Bubby” needs your help to recover and have a second chance.
“Bubby” was stray and on the road for an unknown amount of time until he was recently struck by a car. The majority of the time this is fatal for a small 15lb dog, but somehow he survived.
After being brought in to the Animal Health Center at CCSPCA, Bubby was determined to have a broken femur in his leg.
Bubby’s broken leg required surgery. A pin was placed in his leg to help the bone heal and a wire was used to keep the leg from rotating.
After CCSPCA repaired his leg, Bubby is now on his way to a foster home for a minimum of 6-8 weeks to heal.
The cost to care for Bubby, including the repair of his leg, neuter, vaccinations, foster care will be more than $2,000.
Animals like Bubby come to CCPSCA everyday and we need your support to help care for them.
