Looking for a rewarding rescue experience? Meet Stevie. Stevie is a blind senior who is ready to spend his golden years in comfort and love. Stevie is very sweet and gentle, and loves affection, toys and BLANKETS. He gets along with the other dogs in our play yards but is uncomfortable if multiple dogs get in his face at the same time.Stevie is currently enjoying time with a foster. Here are some recent observations from them: Stevie's in really good physical condition- lean and active. Completely housebroken- he knows "wanna go outside", no accidents. Stevie does well on leash. Loves a good squeaky toy and balls. Knows sit and paw. Stevie knows that a loud "EZ' means he's about to run into something. "Up" means he's at a stair or place he needs to jump to and "down" means the opposite. Stevie navigates stairs well on his own with cues at first. He loves a good snuggle nap on the couch, under a blanket. Very friendly with everyone he meets. Extremely adaptable to different environments- so smart!!!
