Oolong

Oolong is described as an amazing and sweet dog. She is longing for her forever home. Oolong is one of our shelter dogs who regularly participates in our Doggers Program and gets to go out into the community for walks, runs, hikes, and creek swimming with our volunteers. It is reported that she is a star and does amazing on these outings. She is a great walker and has great endurance. She's an avid runner as well. She is not reactive to other dogs when out and about. She would be well-suited for an active home. As part of Oolong's outings, she has also gone on many car rides. She's a behaved passenger each time. She sits back and takes in the beauty of life outside of the shelter.

One of our volunteers recently hosted Oolong for a few days, the following was reported: Oolong did fantastic! She has basic training down. She is crate and potty trained. She knows her house manners. She even was allowed out of the crate while the volunteer left the home for a brief period and she napped the whole time. Oolong enjoyed sleeping in the volunteer's bed and was quiet and a great cuddle bug all night! During an overnight with another volunteer, Oolong loved playing ball outside and in the house and was good with the children in the home. Oolong loved playing with toys. Oolong is open to meeting other dogs, but prefers more gentle dogs.

Oolong is currently living her best life at one of our awesome foster homes. For an introduction, please call, email, or stop by the shelter in person to set up a meeting with Oolong. Our staff would be happy to make an appointment.
