Ready to complete your family?

Maki

Maki was just a kitten when she was found by a good Samaritan, on her own and badly wounded. Our Shelter medical team and a loving foster have cared for her for four months and brought her back to health ready for her forever home. She loves to be around other cats and would likely enjoy having a playmate. While she prefers to set her own pace, she is almost always nearby and will let you know when it's snuggle time. Maki has energy to spare and loves to explore and play laser pointer with her person. She also loves toy mice, watching birds out the window, and napping in patches of sunshine. She prefers wet food, but will eat kibble, and loves crunchy treats like Temptations Party Mix. She is litter trained. Maki qualifies for the Sponsored by Simba Program Pets for Veterans. There is no adoption fee for any military veteran to adopt any dog or cat one year of age and over.
