Jewel is a mature lady full of spunk and personality. At 8 years old, Jewel is perfectly content to curl up on the couch next to you and chill. Her favorite place to sleep is burrowed underneath a blanket where she can snore to her heart's content. Jewel is also house trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside. But do not let her age fool you! She loves playing with toys and will stockpile them next to you until you throw them or play with her. Jewel is an excellent car rider and loves to be taken out on adventures and walks. She walks nicely on a leash, but is still working on not being so insistent on going certain ways. Jewel is very food motivated and knows "sit," "down," "speak," and "paw." Please bring all family members and pets to meet Jewel. Please email Liz at ewalleigh@bvspca.org for a meet.

Necessary fees for adoption (credit card payment only, no cash or checks)
Appropriate handling items for the animal that you are adopting: a carrier for a cat or other small item (available to be purchased at our shelter) or a collar and leash if you are adopting a dog (also available to be purchased at our shelter)
