At just 2 years old, Hammertime has already been through more than any dog should have to endure. He had to have one of his legs amputated, but don't let his three legs fool you-this boy gets around just fine and is ready to enjoy life! Hammertime can be fearful and skittish, so he's looking for a patient, understanding family who will give him the time, love, and encouragement he needs to feel safe and confident. Once he learns he can trust you, we know there is a sweet boy waiting to shine. If you're willing to be Hammertime's biggest cheerleader and show him that life can be wonderful, he may be the perfect three-legged companion for you!
Hammertime can live with older children, other dogs and has the potential to live with cats!

Appropriate handling items for the animal that you are adopting: a carrier for a cat or other small item (available to be purchased at our shelter) or a collar and leash if you are adopting a dog (also available to be purchased at our shelter)
