All BVSPCA employees are responsible for providing excellent customer service to customers, animals, fellow staff, donors and all persons the staff member comes into contact with while working.

Management
Manage workflow and day-to-day operations of the clinic. This includes, but is not limited to, managing staff, serving clients, and scheduling of clients/veterinary procedures.
Provide the best possible humane care for all animals in our custody. Provide services to animals quickly and efficiently.
Maintain pharmacy inventory, controlled substance and other veterinary medications.
Ensure the quality of care provided to each patient and customer.
Oversee and manage client drop off and checkouts.
Make decisions proactively and with critical thinking.
Create, implement and maintain processes to drive revenue and retain customers.
Oversee the shelter veterinary health protocols.
Manage the customer service experience.
Maintain veterinary equipment.
Be part of the core unit to trigger euthanasia. Manage or assist in managing the euthanasia process.
Manage the public clinic as well as the care of the shelter animals.
Order supplies, billing and check inventory. Assist in inventory management and control budget for inventory.
Assist in budgets and budgeting.
Create staff schedules, monitor time keeping, and submit payroll.
Provide feedback to staff. Manage staff and assist in managing staff. Inform Director and CEO of these functions.
Manage workflow to create efficiencies. Create, maintain and organize veterinary records.
Act as a company liaison.
De-escalate situations when needed. Make decisions that reduce liability.
Manage the clinic programs including aspects of: Pets for Life, vaccination clinics, TNR and other programs.
This position may be asked to perform any of the duties and responsibilities of the Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant.

The Veterinary Practice Manager position is a management level position. Staff in this position should have the below or a combination or equivalent of the below.
A Veterinary Technician degree.
At least 2 years of experience working in an animal shelter or veterinary clinic at a management level.
Ability to bend, kneel and stand for long periods of time. Ability to lift 50lbs.
Ability to multitask under high-pressure situations.
Work in loud environments on hard surfaces.

Pay: $39,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
